This page explains what information we collect from members of our ice fishing community, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to delete it. We keep only what we need to keep the catch reports and season updates running smoothly.
Your email address, if you sign up for our season newsletter. Your name and message if you send in a catch report or get in touch through the contact form. Basic technical details like browser type, device, and which pages or reports you open, so we can see which local waters and tips people care about most.
We use a handful of cookies to remember your preferred waters, keep track of which season reports you've read, and get a rough count of visits. You can clear or block any of them in your browser settings whenever you like, without losing access to the site.
We never sell your details and we never hand them to advertisers. A short list of trusted providers handles our email newsletter and website hosting, so the catch reports and season updates reach your inbox reliably.
Data sits on protected systems, and access is limited to the people who run the journal.
You can unsubscribe from any email in one click, and ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold.
If anything changes we will update this page and move the date at the top.
